Today we will share a story which may blow your mind, and will definitely change your habits to blame your fate for your failure. Yes, that person is a brand in himself, the Jack Ma, owner of the most successful e-commerce site Alibaba.com.
The story starts from September 10th, 1964, China, the day Jack was born. In only 13 years old Jack started studying English, but not in a school. Actually, he started his career in 9 years age only as a tourist guide, where he interacted with several foreigners and adopted English. At that time in China, knowing English was not as important as today.
It’s also interesting to share that Jack’s original name was Ma’ YN. But as this is tough to pronounce one of his tourist friends named him Jack and he added Ma afterword.
Now coming to his education. He failed in 4th standards for 2 times and 8th standards for 3 times. And it’s not the end at all. He failed 5 times in the Graduation entrance exam. Finally, he joined in a less ranked institute and completed his graduation in English Literature in 1988.
Now coming to his professional world, he was rejected by 30 companies. Even that time KFC was entering in China. Jack Ma applied there but out of 24 applies 23 was selected and Jack was the one, rejected. Jack joined in a college as Parttime Lecturer and also worked as a translator.
Jack was invited by a tourist friend in US where he came to know about The INTERNET. Yes, that’s true. The 1st word he searched was ‘BEER’ and he noticed that there is no information about China’s Beer Industry even very less information about China was there on Internet. And he decided to do Internet work and joined with his friends and launched “CHINA YELLOW PAGES”. But due to lack of fundings the company shuts down.
But Jack had so many patience left in him. Now with his wife and 20 friends and micro investors, he started his new project, the revolutionary “ALIBABA”. Yes, Alibaba.com had been launched in China. And we can’t even imagine what happened next. Alibaba threw the e-commerce giant EBAY out of China’s market in 4 years period only.
Today Alibaba’s network is larger than Facebook. and their net worth and turnover are more than Amazon and eBay combined.
So, my dear friends, it’s not a Succes Story only. It’s not a Motivation only. It’s a Mirror Image of our life. It’s a way sketch of the life we all have to run through one day. we just need to be focused like an Archer, as he focuses on his target. It’s the thought of a true Archer’s Mind…
